What I learned week 46 2022
I keep forgetting and rediscovering how easy it is to contribute. Simply sharing what I learn, and what I’m excited about can be a meaningful contribution. So here I go, sharing what I learned.
The lesson to be learned from this is that it is often undesirable to go for the right thing first. It is better to get half of the right thing available so that it spreads like a virus. Once people are hooked on it, take the time to improve it to 90% of the right thing.
Starting with an example is the most efficient way to explain a concept, or teach someone something.
One of the saddest things about the human condition is how underpowered your working memory is. Your brain has 100B neurons and is the smartest thing in the known universe, but remembering a seven-digit phone number is a struggle — are you kidding me?
